With Solar Power, if sunny day is active Charizard's sp. Atk is 1.5x; loses 1/8 max hp per turn. With a Lum Berry equipped to it, Charizard cures itself if it has a non-volatile status or is confused then the Lum Berry gets consumed. Heat Wave is a special STAB-boosted 95-base power Fire-type move (10% chance to burn the foes).

Does Charizard use solar beam?

Charizard gains access to an excellent coverage move with Solar Beam. Using this move it can cover its Water and Rock Type weaknesses effectively and hit them for a powerful 120 Base Power, without the draw back of needing a turn to recharge thanks to the sun.
